At Innovate Blue, we are committed to providing secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions. This policy defines our approach to source code management, ownership, and data backup practices.
All source code developed by Innovate Blue remains the intellectual property of the company unless explicitly transferred through a signed Source Code Buyout Agreement. By default, clients receive the compiled, functional version of the software for business use, not the raw source code.
Access to raw source code is provided only if it is explicitly included in the commercial contract and after full payment of the agreed ownership fee. Unauthorized access, modification, or resale of Innovate Blue source code is strictly prohibited.
Clients may request full ownership through a formal buyout agreement. Once the buyout payment is finalized, rights are transferred, and the client assumes responsibility for future maintenance, security, and updates. Innovate Blue is not liable for third-party modifications after transfer.
Source code and technical documentation are treated as highly confidential intellectual property. Clients and third parties must not disclose, distribute, or replicate the code without written consent from Innovate Blue.
Any changes or feature requests after project delivery are treated as new work. If source code ownership has not been purchased, all updates and modifications must be performed through Innovate Blue to ensure system integrity.
We maintain weekly backups of source code, databases, and project files on secure, redundant servers. Backups are retained for 30–90 days depending on project scope. During maintenance periods, we provide disaster recovery services at no additional cost.
We utilize secure version control systems (Git/Bitbucket) with restricted developer access. All repositories are protected with role-based permissions and high-level encryption to ensure maximum asset security.
Any unauthorized usage or sharing of Innovate Blue proprietary source code will result in legal action under applicable international intellectual property and cyber laws.
